The green lawn is the perfect shade of spring,
The flowers perfect in their bloom.
My eyes close to hear your whisper
Feel your breath on my neck,
Your touch,
Your kiss.
Savoring the feel of your hand
Through my hair.
Your arm around my waist
Your strength within the tenderness
My eyes open
I hear the lone horn
I jump as the shots echo through the air
A tear escapes.
