A feather fell from the sky,
it was white, like just fallen snow.
And it was beautiful.
Yeah, it held so much beauty.
And the feather kept floating,
that feather from an angel's wings kept floating.

It was beautiful,
you were beautiful,
and you kept floating.

How Romantic.... But However....

Your 'poem' does have romance I'll give you that, but however it needs work. A whole shit load of it. Becouse all I hear is feather, feather, feather,feather....etc.....

A weightless feather visits town

Always a sucker for poems which tempt me with 'a moment',

I found one which to me was a moment in 'no time' or rather in magical time, especially given the last lines. <P>

As far as the selection of cliched materials, here is another proof that what counts is not the initial selection of materials but the final treatment they are given in the context of the work.

soaring.

This rendering had such an ethereal feeling - a pleasant mood if you will. Beautiful images.

~~

Perhaps a bit saccharine & trite

But done this way

It says a lot.
