A moments peace seems far out of reach
as if life was being syphoned from me like a leech
the rage blinds me with the intensity of hell's flame
sometimes I feel like the lone pawn in a galactic chess game
I am moved about without my knowledge or consent
confucious says bend like the reed in the wind, but I am already bent
I don't know how much more I may be able to take
for I am the last straw and I am ready to break
my mind races with different possiblities of what I can do
but all my choices are far between and few
if there was a dangling rope I would be at its end
there is no more material of my heart left to mend
I am a tattered tapestry hanging on the wall of despair
just a simple man clinging, but grabbing nothing but air
wondering, hoping for all the anguish to cease
wishing desperately for just one moment of peace

It’s Like This Poem Was Written For Me..... Think You....

I can relate it’s like just a moment of peace is that too much to ask? I feel as though a certain deity refused to help me, and he is the one that is holding that dangling rope. I just wished I knew what did I do or didn’t do to piss him off so much either in this life or in the previous one, and I would also like to know what fucked up plan I fit in. I’m sick of his shit. Ever seen the first Toy Story? And ever heard of Sid Myers?

"If there was a dangling rope I would be at its end. There is no more material of my heart left to mend."..That says it all..Well done.
