and say "excuse me"
they turn one of their 2 heads and say,
"yes?" and continue typing
the whole time.
I do it too when need is there
to impress the greeter
as a greetee it is my polite stance,
then accept the invitation for lunch.
or curse the S.O.B.
for just making my life more miserable
just for walking up, pin pricking my attention
and disrupting flow

they barely acknowledge your existence;
Then continue that task with callous disregard for your person,
Telling you through deed what a low-life creature you are.
