Note from the Authoress: for those of you who have read my stories this is a departure from the norm, a moment of quick relief you might say. This is my first attempt having never written poetry before, so apologies to any poets who read this. It is dedicated to my jaz, but could as equally be to any of my unseen online lovers.

* * * * *

My heart beats quicker when I see your name
It is for your love, I stake my claim
Your words are like water, flowing down a stream
But they are just letters on a computer screen
How can I see the face I have never seen
How can I feel the touch that has never been
How can I hear your words of love, so true
I don’t know how, but I know I do
The nights we have spent when I can feel your arms
Loving you gently keeping you safe from harm
I adore your kisses, you taste so sweet
Though I know that we will never meet
So when you leave and the screen goes dead
And I get up to rest my head
Know that as I shut my eyes to sleep
I see your face once more to keep

Dedicated to my beautiful sub ‘jaz’ whoever or wherever she is

You caught the wonder of this flat, lucid portal into the minds of distant souls that can grow so close in such beautiful words! Thanks for sharing.

Remembering.

Evocative of many late night virtual conversations with some really wonderful people. The Internet opened our minds and hearts to the wonders of conversations with strangers.

From fantasy the reality

That others truly live.

Really!!

OK, I'll be the first! To tell you, THIS is perhaps more 'Real' than 90% of the 'Horseshit' I see here!

NOW,,, suddenly,, someone calls it TRUE!!

No need to answer me... Just go with 'Yourself'!!!

Remain true, find a balance with this WiLd little place we find so very intriguing! I find "meself" in respect of your style!
