Your skin
Soft and sensuous pressed close to mine
Time lapses and ceases to exist as your lips close in
The moist heat of your breath so close to my own
The lights dim as my eyes close
Sweet rapture in the darkness
Electrifying
And fusing us into one
Your blue eyes gaze into my own
And your hands, so safe and comforting,
Grasp mine.
You tear yourself away
But I can't let you go
The song on the radio stays
And you return to me
Your face so smooth
There is nothing like the
Butterfly kisses on eyelids
To melt a heart of stone.
Lips full and soft, so supple in your kisses
The curve of your jaw
Just the right size for my hand
And I reach for you
To turn your face to me
To start all over again
But you're already there
Staring into my eyes
And reading my thoughts
That no words can express.
