Lying listless in my abandoned thoughts.
Holding his pillow taut.
Feeling the tears as they fall, but nothing more.
Unwilling of the trembling from my very core.
Resting my tired eyes.
Secretly pleading to die.
Finally drifting to my safe place.
No more tears to taste.
My toes playing with the soft black sands.
The gentle breeze whispering in my ear of the secrets of the land.
Aware of the waves as they lick the shore.
Not wanting for anything more.
Tender strokes of blush streak the evening sky.
Feeling so content hoping I really did die.
