there are many sorts of boxes:

big boxes
small boxes
hierarchal boxes   (box-people love hierarchy)
intellectual boxes
theological boxes
addictive boxes
egotistical boxes
high-paying boxes
"cultural" boxes
black-mail boxes
violent boxes   (there are a lot of violent boxes)
tricky Iago boxes
long-haired boxes
pretentious artistic boxes
masculine boxes
bo-tox boxes

there are so many boxes,
many so familiar they feel like home

Me, I'm trying to lose the boxes,
and I'm far from alone

a hierarchy of boxes - how neat is that?

your work never fails to set my mind ticking, for all you say there's so much more not said but there all the same.

somehow humans tend feel safest when surrounded by parameters, whether they're boxes, hedges, or poetic 'rules'. the truly startling minds are those free to go anywhere they or someone else can imagine into being for them.
