A Poem for a Video (and a Video for

If you'd like an assignment – something like a tether
To keep us thinking of each other while we're not together
(Perhaps we've never met – but that just makes it even better
A sort of anonymous, long-distance poetic fetter)
Then I say do the following: set the timer on your shelf
Sit spread-eagled on the bed and then film yourself
For a full 10 minutes, for the benefit of my eyes
Stimulate your clitoris with the camera between your thighs
When you're about to come – when you're right there on the edge
Pause a moment and tell me why you belong there on the ledge
Give me a new reason why you should not have release
Why this edging should continue – why your clit should not know peace
Then touch yourself some more – do it all again
Only stopping the cycle at the moment when
The timer rings and tells you it's been 10 minutes now
Then just as fast as your connection with allow
You send to me the file, and I'll tell you all the ways
You have piqued my interest, and earned some words of praise
I'll write to you a poem – I hope you think it's groovy
You only need record yourself and then send me the movie
