Last night I dreamed I went to heaven, and you were waiting there for me. Standing in a lovely garden, underneath a maple tree. You were a thing of beauty, glowing with a holy light. A vision of perfection wearing flowing robes of white. This sight was just so perfect, that earth just can't compare, with your smile bright as diamonds and stardust in your hair.

Pain made your life a prison, but God tore down its walls. Now you're where death holds no dominion, and teardrops never fall. Yet even though I'm weeping, I know that you are blessed. For now you're with your savior, he only takes the best. Losing you is such a burden, one so hard to bear. I only hope you know how much I love you, and for you I'll always care. I know that there will come a day when I'll see you again. You made my life much better by being my best friend.
