Click hereGoddesses, Gods, and Brides of Three,
I beg of you, to hear my plea.
I need you to send forth a man,
A Pagan from a distant land.
Make his skin the lightest brown,
A face that rarely wears a frown.
Make his hair be long and dark,
Eyes a shade of cherry bark.
Make him active, tall and fit,
One who’s clever, sharp of wit.
He must be loving, warm and true,
A writer and an artist, too.
Make him frugal, with good taste,
Not a man who likes to waste.
Passionate, he likes to cook,
Let him melt me with one look.
A man of Majick, green of thumb,
His heartbeat echoed in a drum.
His soul lies in the verdant hills,
Blazing campfires, night that stills.
Be kind and thoughtful as he can,
And giving to his fellow man.
Knowing things found in the wild,
Possessed of temper calm and mild.
Let his symbol be a star,
When he’s away he’s never far.
Let him love me let it grow,
And my love for him he’ll know.
Let him have a lust for me,
Tempered with propriety.
In privacy, his passion nigh,
Our heat is such we slightly die.
This I ask you, Lady, Lord,
Hearken close and hear my words.
This is all I ask of thee,
As I will it, mote it be.
Seems almost a prayer for a god among men and a very personally dedicated one at that!? Best of luck in your quest and may it be less than eternal!
A woman yearning for that special someone who will be all things to her. Poignant tender words of longing.
Every woman's plea for the perfect man
Then when she gets him, she's bored to tears;
Wanting her "bad boy" is her dream denied
The when she gets him, he refuses to change
Then she's out looking again for her perfect man.
I even forgive you for the fact that I'll be humming "Matchmaker, Matchmaker" for the rest of the day. =0)
