The echoes of this lonely heart can be heard in the bleak night.

The tears that fall like rain shower, the ground I walk on.

This should be a happy song.
But I was wrong.

Clearing out my skeletons, revealing everything for all to hear.

Opening my heart to you, showing all my hopes and my one fear.

The red tide haunts my once peaceful dream,
Like a single thread dangling down from this life’s seam.

Unraveling this existence and erasing this mark I have made.

Looking into the light and seeing everything slip away.

Seeing everything disappear as I fade.

If in this life there is only one thing that I am able to accomplish.

It’s never to be remembered. To be forgotten is my wish.

So no one will remember the failure that I have become.
