I must look stupid
with this smile
plastered on my face
but it's all I can do
as I relive
the memories
I can hear his
whispered questions
I can feel
his hands
on my body
and then the kiss
my whole body reacts
like an aftershock
the heat spreading
eyes closing
a clenching ache
it happens every time
relax and repeat
the mirror
tells no lies
but my mind
tells a different story
