At the foot of your bed I stand.
Watching you, wanting you.
You lay in a trap made of linen, tossing and turning.
I wonder, love, can you feel my presence?
No one before you ever has, but then none of them were ever you.
They all couldn't see what was before them.
If they had most would have died.
See they aren't like you, love.
They couldn't accept what I am.
But you know don't you?
You know exactly what I am.
I'm the one you've been searching for your whole life.
I'm that whisper on the breeze.
The one that caresses your neck like a lover's kiss
I'm that chill that runs down your spine when your alone, when you think someone is watching you.
Yes, lover, I'm that spirit you call in the dark.
The one you cry out to in pain.
The one you seek to fill your soul's desire.
I can no longer deny you my love.
I've come to take you.
This will be the last night you will ever know.
This is the last night you will ever have to call out to me.
From this night on you will be mine.
At long last I will hold you in my arms, as it should have been all those years ago.
It’s taken centuries for this night to happen, for things to finally be corrected.
Wake my love and see what is before you.
Take this hand and be mine for all eternity.
