A moment of clarity
An announcement hangs on the air
Anticipation
A storm is coming

My eyes grip you
Lightening flashes
We count together slowly
1… 2… 3...
and the thunder is heard in your heart

My hands bring down the rain of fire
You are scorched and wet
You are cold and quivering
As dry earth you soak in the pain
You feed that which grows

Manhood planted in the earth
Warmth begins to spread
Whimpers give way to groans
Your mane snatched tight
It grows inside you
A wild look in your eyes over your shoulder

A moment of clarity
An announcement hangs on the air
Anticipation
A storm is coming

Well done.

Strong and vivid images make this a very evocative piece. Well done!

Great poem

It touches someplace inside that not many words can.:)

this is rather interesting

Actually, this stanza interests me:

My eyes grip you

Lightening flashes

We count together slowly

1… 2… 3...

and the thunder is heard in your heart

As a reader, I'd like more to be done with this. I think there's a poem here in just this one idea--two lovers counting after each lightning flash.
