I hear a strange sound, going thump, thump, thump
it is scaring me to death, and it's making me jump.
I know I've heard that sound, at least once before
i can't recall when, but it was something that I wore.
What on earth, could this strange sound be
i know it is something, that's inside of me.
I felt it a few days ago, it was loud and strong
taking me to places, I knew I would belong.
what is this thing, going thump, thump, thump
scaring me to death, and making me jump
why it is my heart, and LOVE is it's pump
