A Sub's Song

Yielding, passive, obedient...
Are these simple words to describe the
 willingness of one who dares to
place herself at the feet of another?

Do they do justice to the sub,
who places her well being in His hands?
Who trusts Him with her very soul?
Alas! I think not!

No words can convey the trust that lies therein.
No emotion can be taken so lightly as to think
mere words can relate them as deeply as
they are felt.

Dutiful, docile, pliant...
What of Fear? Pain? Pleasure?
There are no words to mix the meanings
into what it is, for the truth is many things.
Is that of which the heart of the lowly creature sings?
