That time beside you,
'neath the green
shade of summer
willow branches,
bird watching
on a blanket,
feeding you sugar
soaked strawberries
dipped in schnapps.
Captured moments still tingle,
your hand drifting up
my thigh, moving colored
folds of sun dress
like an accordion,
your voice speaking
softly into my
hair...saying
"I just have to kiss you..."
That moment... spawned
sparks still flaming
our today...

sweet sweet memory

and strong spiced tea

between my lips spread

just enough for strawberries

with just a hint of sugar

may i force my hand

to remember the delicates

of that summer day

one life is enough for me

when summer can be that full
