You have someone waiting for you at home,
(Just thinking of it makes my heart breakdown.)
I'm gone again hoping my heart will mend.

Such good times when we talked until day's end,
But you were keeping something from me.
You have someone waiting for you at home.

Taking my hand in your warm kissing grip,
Telling me softly I was a good friend.
I'm gone again hoping my heart will mend

Spirits no longer bright they are just ghosts.
Something was between us you know it,
Despite having someone waiting for you.

Throw me out, but I'm already leaving!
Take from me these unending sad feelings.
You have someone waiting for you at home;
I'm gone again hoping my heart will mend.
