a walk in the park

after we hung up
i walked around the park
the breeze blowing slightly
and while i held down the edge
of my skirt
out of modesty
a bit of wind blew in
and tried to cool those lips
but
it only
fanned the fire
my restraint is still
balled up
in the bottom of my purse

good poem

For me this would of been perfect with a few minor changes in tense and a couple different synonyms. Overall very good.

Enjoyed

Welcome to Lit, Crystal_Gem.

I enjoyed reading this. Love the contrasting images and that kick at the end.

Nicely done :)
