A Walk through My Mind

I love the way you
walk in my mind,
Never gettin' lost
Camping out in your favorite places.
So in-tuned to your environment.

Raising the little girl inside me,
making sure she feels loved and secure
until she becomes strong enough,
to face the burdens and challenges,
of each passing day.

Finding the dark places,
the angst, sarcasm, and deep pain
as I recover from bad choices
made many years past.

You bring light to the darkness,
You embrace the anger,
and laugh with the comic,
You wipe the tears that I cry
You love my soul unconditionally.

Our goal now is to find Unity

And Become One.
