It seemed a waste of time to be away,
Because my longing thoughts of you negated
My longing body’s presence relegated
To anywhere but in your arms that day,
That day you said you loved me.
Disarray described my state of mind.
You’d confiscated all trace of reason left.
You’d illustrated my mind’s dull book
With a colorful display of dazzling, primal, passionate figures
Locked In love’s embrace, and all those pictures us,
Completely consumed in desire’s ravenous flames.
My soul, my mind, my flesh all three were shocked alive again,
Made one,
As they say.

Consumed by the flames of desire ~ shocked alive once more.

There's nothing like hearing those three words

To turn your world upside down and fire up

An insatiable fire.
