A Worthwhile Journey

I feel smooth warm skin, firm beneath my touch
Contours showing evidence of health and fitness
My finger tips trail the length of a flat abdomen
My splayed fingers exploring new territory

I follow my confident hand with the tip of my tongue
My nose tickled by short, soft hairs leading the way to treasure
I happily nuzzle his navel with my nose and lips
Pausing for a moment to appreciate the journey

My hands and mouth arrive seconds apart.
It isn’t a race, more of a cooperative measure,
So neither celebrates, only revels in the find
Then moves to adore the sleek, hard prize
