a moment so violent
it's hard to hide away
the feelings still haunt me
and my day turns to grey

a second,

a moment,

a whisper,

I'm there once again
the aching so painful

tears are still falling
innocence lost
one shudder and it was over

the memories so real
and no matter
the time which passes
it will always end the same.

Innocence lost ~ never to be recovered

Memory not so abstract as a moment in time comes back to life.

or is it concrete?

You captured what is probably a pretty universal sentiment to one degree or another in a very honest, touching and approachable way--

"the time which passes

it will always end the same."

I have found that it is never too late to change an ending, in my experience...
