As I stare into the abyss,
I see the demons that
come to haunt me,
Always there,
Always tormenting me,
Nothing stops them,
They always come at night,
Never letting me have no peace,
Never a moment's rest,
They stare and claw at me
Ripping my skin to shreds,
Blood seeping from my now open
wounds,
When they leave in the
morning,
the wounds heal,
But I take no comfort in this,
For each night they come
again from the depths of the abyss

Coping

Sleeplessness and depression ~ a nightly nocturnal visitor.

~~

Now here's one tormented soul

With dreams to drive to screaming madness;

Perhaps she needs a sleep aid.
