Thus my family deeply divided
No acceptance was provided
Just one person to destroy
Leaving us with no shared joy
Living lives on a separate level
She should know I am no devil
I love much but will not cry
Still not understanding how her love could die
Sometimes I think to this day day still
Love for her is a bitter pill
Better to a swallow whole, never tasting
To me love and family is a sweet candy not made for wasting
Leaving you I must say
We make our own choices every day
Learn to love and be loved you will
Learn to hate and family loves you still
Sister to Sister I was once loved

~~

That last line gives new meaning and prompts a rereading.
