The Devil is grasping hold on my soul.
I can feel it now
as he sends his demons to tempt me.
The flow of blood,
warming and coursing through my veins,
a slight tingle of warning.
But the temptation is near,
the desire is great
as bound and gagged
he pulls me down
toward the underworld that is his.
Terror grips me
as I fight for my will and sanity
against the erotic embrace of overflowing ecstacy.
My memory fading.
I jump suddenly awake
adjusting to the reality of normality in front of me.
My breathing steadies.
My heart rate slows.
But still he waits
slinked back in shadows
ever present
in the back of my mind.
