Last night your shadow faded away,
I watched it go with my last bit of sanity.
And it wasn't to my surprise,
When I awoke so deep within your high.
You left your pillow one time,
Why does it have to happen every time I try?
The mornings here I said,
So we can't be seen together again.
I speak the words you say that I wish I could change,
In hopes that one day I'll be able to say,
I don't want you to go, please, stay.
