it seems so good, so real, so rare
this rush of verve and bliss
you beckon me on past despair
towards love anew and right.
your shapely form stays in my mind
and the prospect of your kiss
makes me braver, honest, kind
and want to hold you tight.
i pray you’ll know you’re always free
to soar as currents flow
bestowing love on others, on me,
as pleasure and hope abound.

a phoenix now aglow
your future focused down the trace

we ponder how the cosmos moves
