Aeternum Vale

bysilver_firefly©

Sand in the hourglass,
Time on our hands:
Aeternum vale.
Semper amemus.

Let the night come,
Set your heart free.
If you hear my requiem,
You have truly come for me.

Will you ever come for me?

Tread upon these snowy grounds,
For I polished these with love,
To show you the pain I felt
When your love failed to show.

Has it ever existed, though?

Semper amemus.
Aeternum vale.
Time on our hands
Are but sand in an hourglass.

~~~~~~
To the love I lost,
with whom my heart was buried:
Aeternum vale.
