A slice of cherry pie and some coffee
dab of ReddiWhip on both
sat on the table, cooling
while on the floor
crusty chocolate sauce and sticky honey
mingled in a sweet echo of
recent satisfaction revisited
after too long a time apart
panting and swollen
tongued, he feasted still
a tangy cream filling
he'd almost forgotten
their perfect concoction
that special dessert
simmering
and delicious.
This was written in tandem with Remec. He wrote the even, italicized lines and I writing the odd, straight ones.
