When the sun disappears our fun begins,
A carnival of hedonistic sins,
Reveling with self-indulgent delight,
Riotous partying all through the night.
Meeting my lover, the one I adore,
My quick-stepping partner and so much more.
When music surrounds us, rhythms sublime,
I'll be his sweetheart and he will be mine.
Dressed to the nines we're a sight to behold,
Smartest tuxedo, dress blood-red and bold,
Looking quite perfect from head to our toes,
Seeking the night-life where anything goes.
Picking at canapés, cocktails galore,
Twirling and spinning upon the dance floor,
Laughing and flirting, your hands holding mine,
Whirling emotions and pleasures divine.
Day-jobs don't matter, we're living a life
Free from all worries, from trouble and strife.
Hours of dancing with hearts set on fire,
Passionate union of rhythmic desire.
Now home, a stroll in the arms of my beau,
How far he'll take me, I'm eager to know.
A kiss, a caress, 'neath clear, starlit skies,
The warmest embrace, the fondest of sighs.
Our night is not done, our fun could endure
But ever the gent, he halts at my door.
It's merely adieu, no need for sorrow,
We'll dance through the night again tomorrow.
