Afterglow

Moist the thighs between which I have lain;
Along a half-bent leg a pulsing vein:
Gently sigh the soft and amber breasts;
Quivering the limbs sprawled out in rest.
Calmly now our hearts together beat
As in each other's arms we lie, replete:
Wrapped in love's encompassing protection;
Undemanding, mutual affection.
