You don’t know,
that every day I check my mail…
only to see, you have not written.

You don’t know,
that every night I guard the phone…
only to hear, you’re not calling.

You don’t know,
that a line from your hand
makes me sing,
a word from your lips
makes me dance,
a sign of your love
makes me cry.

Condemning my patience,
I deride my viewless hope.
Being tired of illusions
I need to end this silly game.

Yet how…
how to abandon
my self-destructive love for you ?
