I'm afraid I haven't said
the words to you often enough
words that should have been said
and always need to be said
words that are mere echoes
of all that is in my heart
and words that I desperately hope
your heart wants to hear too
I love you
that hasn't changed
nor will it ever change
and there is more than just that
I need you
and I need your love
because it completes my heart
and I hope my love
is a completion of your heart
I don't ever want to let go of our dreams
so please, lock your heart with mine and lets hold onto those dreams forever
I love gazing back to when we first met
and how I wanted to make you feel so special
and how I used to try so hard
I love the memories associated
with almost every day we have shared
and I love the way each of those memories
have brought us to where we are today
I think to the days we have ahead of us
and they make my heart swell with longing and love
and I still feel the anticipation
of wondering what tomorrow will bring to us
what new ways I'll learn to love you
what new ways we'll learn to share
The time we've had has gone way too fast indeed and there are so many times I wish I could suspend time
because I know there will never be enough time
in my life for all I want to give to you
or be with you
I love all that we have had
all that we will have
and I want to use all that we are
to build our future tomorrow together
