She holds the razor up to the light,
Watching it glint in the pale moon- so bright.
A hot tear is shed in peace,
Quietly coursing down her face.
She wants to be alive and free,
Knowing she will never be.
Memories of the past are haunting,
Mocking laughter daunting.
She will get out- now or never,
But she’s afraid-- death is forever.
She sits, and contemplates,
Her heart longs…
It’s only prolonging fate.

Desolate.

Someone in desperate need of a friend and some tender words of comfort.
