We did have love at least for a while,
Won't say a word you're in denial.
Did you mean to crucify the one you did love?
What was the purpose a sign from above,
I now wither and feel so much pain,
Why is question, what did you gain?
All we had you forgot so quick,
Thinking about it makes me sick.
If it was true why didn't you try
To stop at nothing to make me your guy?
There were many moments when we would click,
You tried to get through my head, I guess it's too thick,
But when the going got tough you were gone,
Now alone I carry on.
You said that crying shit don't work, but you hurt me bad,
Rage took over.......now I'm just sad,
Like you always said am I strong enough to be your man,
I bet this will end up with my heart.....in the garbage can....

Even over a decade of marriage it's still no sure thing.
