Alone...a loan as yet unpaid
In solitude, your own brigade
Your candle is your inner-sense of light
The world has turned, become undone
Because the Lord's compendium
Is shattering the innocence of night

Your church has joined the tidal wave
As Anti-Christ told it "behave!"
And all the sacred puppets looked away
You always knew this time may come
You'd fight for God, His only son
You galvanized yourself for judgment day.

There is no rapture, only hate
Your light makes you the serpent's bait
"I am your family, why are you alone?"
"Your God does not command the skies"
"So why not seek a compromise?"
His words are lost as you embrace the throne.

You heard the light though darkness screamed
You were the light, the souls redeemed
Though family and friends denied your face
There is no silence for your pain
There is none for the born again
Within the final chapters true embrace.
