In my life, I am destined to walk alone.
Never to know the pleasure of a love.
Only the responsibility of protection.

I may walk among the tribes of the Earth,
But it's people are forever separated from me.
I am but a tool of the gods.

In life, I have always been the big brother.
The one who must stand up for his friends.
It is a responsibility that I cherish.

This same responsibility is a bane to me.
I would give it up, if only for one thing.
The love of a wife and child.

But it is my destiny to walk alone, to protect
Those in need. this is a cycle in life that I
Cannot break, even if I tried.
