I stand here waiting
For what I do not know
Love comes and goes
And now it is gone like the wind
Leaving only sadness
Why must I suffer
Why must I love
People use it against me
To cause me pain
Sometimes I wish to fall asleep
And never wake up
But that would be running away
Something I vowed I would never do
Love is my enemy
Darkness is my friend
Although I long for love
It only maims and kills
I am a lone wolf
Alone in this world
No one knowing how I really feel
But it seems everyone knows my weakness
I cannot hide
I cannot run
So it slowly kills me
When I wake my friend is there
Ever supporting forever loving
Darkness is my friend
Always has
