I dream…
of fireflies dancing up there,
above us now, without a care.
I feel the softness of your hair,
while those blinking dots light up the air.
And, I dream of dancing with you.
I dream…
of sparrows singing near by,
their happy tunes that don’t ask why.
I feel your breath upon my chest,
while those soaring birds return to nest.
And, I dream of singing with you.
I dream…
of dolphins laughing at me;
their dimpled grins, a joy to see.
I feel your fingers on my face,
while knowing you’re at peace in my space.
And, I dream of smiling with you.
I dream…
of waking up every day
to hear what your sweet voice will say.
I feel your presence as I sleep
while my love you know is yours to keep.
And, I dream of being with you.
