(This poem was written to go alongside an RPG I was involved in and talks of the main characters relationship from Amber's view point.)
I don't know how I met him
I’m not one to believe in fate
But I know somewhere inside
He is my true, dream date
I don't know how to treat him
He’s something quite brand new
He’s got a life, and stability
So different from what I knew
I haven't known him long
Yet it still feels like forever
And all I know right now is
I want to leave him never
He seems to have it easy
But I know that is not true
With him I have no worries
I forget that times are tough
He wants to make things perfect
As he always has enough
Somehow I’ve let him know me
See every part of my soul
Everything’s up in the air
Somehow I lost control
And now I think I love him
Someway I don’t believe
Yet deep within my heart and soul
I pray he’ll never leave.
