American Baby

I’m an American Baby
I’m always given a yes
Never a no or maybe

The way I think, act, and dress
Is the business of all the world
My choices aren’t my own I confess
My opinions aren’t ever unfurled

I’m an American Baby
I’m always given a yes
Never a no or maybe

Ever at my ear is my phone
The perfect accessory
And so I’ll never be alone
As long as I have my techno jewelry

I’m an American Baby
I’m always given a yes
Never a no or maybe

Love is fleeting
Lust is prevalent
Kissing, rubbing, and moaning
I lose myself in the moment

I’m an American Baby
I’m always given a yes
Never a no or maybe

Money is muscle and Money is power
And daddy has more than enough
Insuring my bank account wont sour
And designers won’t give me any guff

I’m an American Baby
I’m always given a yes
Never a no or maybe

You’re my American Baby
And the light of my life
Or so daddy tells me
And also tells his young new wife

I’m an American Baby
I’m always given a yes
Never a no or maybe

And of course my daddy is right
I’m truly an American Baby
Filled full with joy and delight
At shopping for jewelry and parties gone crazy

I’m an American Baby
I’m always given a yes
Never a no or maybe
