I want you to want me...

The thing about wanting is that it's not a closed circuit.
It is in no way self-sustaining.
To continue to want requires an almost constant feedback loop.
To want without being wanted by another,
without having that energy to fuel it,
is so unsatisfying as to be obscene.
And it's not necessarily that it makes the wanting go away.
It's more like it perverts it into something tepid,
and unpleasantly viscous,
and just slightly bitter.

But it's not like it's something you can fake, or ask to be faked, either.
It's not an action that's required,
but a desire.
That desire can come through in any number of actions, so long as it is both communicated and received in truth.

dormant desire

Desire once ignited ~ through honesty and sincerity can bring sensuous feelings full circle.

That satisfying condition of the feedback loop

Where wanting and being wanted reinforce each other.
