Well she shot up the guards,
Just like he planned.
Drove away,
In a Chevy minivan,
Dumped it off.
In nowhere Kentucky,
Jumped in a cab.
Drove away free.
Cabbie took them to Ohio,
They said for an Amway convention.
And small business expo.
He said they didn’t seem,
The Amway type.
Weren’t pushy at all,
Full of all the hype.
He had no idea,
They were on the run.
Didn’t see no cuffs, shackles,
Or even a gun,
But he called the locals,
Who called in the Fed’s?
The Fed’s called the room,
Said come out We’re in the right.”
Boyfriend said they bust down doors,
This ain’t right.
Did as they were told,
Now they are in stir to stay.
But I sit here and wonder,
Did they do it the Amway way?
