My heart it waits to watch you sleep to add
Me to your own or join but not subtract
Or move you to a place where I can sum
You up but find a place where I divide
My time; my heart it begs to be on loan
To you from me even though you have a lein

From where or how did you come by this lein
I don’t know how it came to be to add
it too your heart and take its note on loan
from me; beguiled I ask to not subtract
myself from this account of me divide
me not among others than me, your sum

For I maintain you as my one true sum,
I must desire you and give my lien
Freely without recourse; I’ll divide
Us not, unwind us not, but grow us, add
Us, in contract with us; I’ll not subtract
Us, no, never, always we are on loan

The truth of us is that we own the loan
We must maintain ourselves within the sum
Careful in all regards to not subtract
Ourselves from the lovers of our pure lien;
To them we owe our love and surely add
Our learned love to them and not divide

In us we strive to live within divide
Within the rules negotiate our loan
Ensure we bring ourselves together; add
Ourselves together to create the sum
Where we can live, as us, within our lien
In us so we do not have to subtract

I choose my path with you, I’ll not subtract
You from my heart or drive us to divide
I’ll give you me, my heart, without a lien
If you can write for us, in truth, a loan
Of happiness, against our future sum
For with that there is nothing we can’t add

Together we can sum our lives subtract
Nothing nor divide but build in our loan
Those things we need to add to live our lien

Romantic Math.

Having added you to my life ~ I will never subtract you. Lovely rendering.

Hell, another damn sestina.

Technically perfect (can't be a sestina otherwise).

Expressions built on those 6 words, a bit weak in spots.

But that's part of the challenge of the form.
