AN ENDLESS SEARCHING

It was a lonely little love affair with myself
I was alone and I invited nobody else
In the darkness I held myself tight
But somehow it just didn’t seem right
I glanced about the room in silent desperation
Then I joined myself in a deadly contemplation
Soon the outside plunged to the depths of my being
And in my mind I heard my desperate screaming
And a river of warmth flooded from in to out
And in that darkness I left no doubts
Within the transfer I was changed
And my corporal self no longer remains
Shapeless and barren, I drift in space
In an endless searching for a more loving place

quest

An endless searching for a more loving place ~ would seem to be the quest of so much of mankind.
