Click hereI walk to the car door thinking
I can't believe this is his response to me begging to take me out - A Sunday afternoon matinee and Beowulf no less - I know he only wants to see it because of Angelina Jolie and those lips
I get into the car and he kisses me on the cheek
Damn that felt nice. I remember what those lips felt like on other parts of my body and that I can't wait to feel them again
He leans away and turns the station from the ballad to a hard core rap station and
I start to remember that he had been neglecting me for over a week and how everytime we make love we have to listen to this same crap and why can't we listen to something decent for a change
Then he grabs my hand and smiles at me
and I remember groaning underneath him as my hips undulate to that same rap music and thanking the producer for creating the beat that led these hips to heaven
He pulls away to turn onto the highway
Suddenly my senses are surrounded by the aroma of the blunt he smoked earlier and the awareness of how offensive the smell of that really is. Am I so bad that you have to medicate yourself first?
He pulls into the parking lot and catches my eye with a smile
I remember the night he came to pick me up four o'clock in the morning to let me cry on his shoulder while my world merely fell apart.
He leans over
I remember him making breakfast for me after the first time we made love
He kisses me
ALL THOUGHTS CEASED
Interesting thought processes. This piece reads like prose but is poetic in intensity. The breaks work well too.
Interesting insight into a mind at work; no wonder men can't begin to fathom a woman's desires — it's like they're in conflict with themselves.
Thanks for the invitation into your mind. Interesting read. Your poem is mentioned on the new poems thread on the literotica poetry forum.
