        i was sorry
to undress you and kiss your eyelids
        when your dress and eyes
        matched skies

        i loved you in mountains
at the side of a wiggly road
        i loved you in atlantic
        waves drowning my happy face
i loved you on a wet carpet
        in my new apartment
        i loved you
        i understood your story
        better than you

this was my joy and crime
        i paid
you discarded me like an old toy

now i am no more sorry
that i undressed you and kissed your eyelids
i remember your dress and eyes anyway
        they matched skies
