If I could tell a tale of woe
as mournful as my soul in whole
you would weep a tear so bold
it would be sure to leave you cold.

If I could speak my heart so pure
I wonder if your love would endure
for all I feel inside is darker
than night and duller than grey.

I will not dare tell my plight
for fear you realise your angel
has no wings. For fear you realise
your angel's already sold her soul.
